The Dubai Mall is set to open November 4 in UAE (hopefully it will push through after repeated delays). Housing a total of 1,200 shops it is the world's largest and it is situated below the world's tallest building Burj Dubai. The world's largest Acrylic Panel is housed inside the mall as Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre. Dubai is set to break world records in construction, let's hope they break records in market sales too amidst the current financial crisis.

humanobserver stays far away...i stay half-hour distance away from the mall..but can't reach it (of course, just for windowshopping) thanks to chaotic sharjah-dubai traffic...anyway...more malls, the merrier..
