Largest Shopping Mall in the World

The Dubai Mall is set to open November 4 in UAE (hopefully it will push through after repeated delays). Housing a total of 1,200 shops it is the world's largest and it is situated below the world's tallest building Burj Dubai. The world's largest Acrylic Panel is housed inside the mall as Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre. Dubai is set to break world records in construction, let's hope they break records in market sales too amidst the current financial crisis.

Beyonce Knowle's and her Alter Ego Sasha Fierce

Beyonce Knowles shot to fame as a member of the Destiny's Child, a.k.a. Mrs. Jay Z, has added another alias now known as her alter ego - Sasha Fierce. What?! Now I'm confused.

She explains, "I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am,.. Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage."

Well, come to think of it it is just another marketing strategy. Her new album which is due to be out this November entitled " I am ... Sasha Fierce" is actually a two-disc set. The first Disc called I am is more Beyonce-like and contains more RNB, ballad tracks. The other CD which is Sasha Fierce contains more dance tracks.

Who am I liking more? We need to find out when the CD comes out. See?! Another marketing strategy, huh?

Paris Fashion Week Ends

Forget the world's economy sliding down, some people can still afford to feel glamorous. Well, I can give a reason for events like this: It's for the sake of art and advancing culture. Other reasons than that is purely trivial. Unless of course, we dress to feel good about ourselves. But even cheap but beautiful clothes can make us feel dollish right? Not that I have anything against designer clothes. Just to take note I think Marc Jacobs and Miuccia Prada are heaven sent!

T-Mobile will release the new G1 phone powered by Google android software this month in United States.

Google android what? That made it sound like it's some robotic phone huh?! What is with it anyway?

For one, G1 will be the first android phone on the market. What's the deal with android phones anyway?

They are meant to make phones internet ready and friendly that's it. Built in with some of the most popular google applications will make it very useful. Welcome to the future of smartphones.

Britney Spear's ex, Adnan Ghalib (as in who??? they say he is a Paparazzo for all I care) is threatening the pop princess with a video tape of the two of them having sex, which he claimed was taped in Mexico. Oh-oh! Just when things are beginning to look good for Britney, here's another blow to her! Please don't make poor decisions again Britney and pleeeease you can have someone better looking than this one! Eeeewww! Bad, bad,bad. (There's nothing worse than having no respect even if she's just your ex, man!)

A Man Flew over the English Channel with just a single wing

Yes it is true! A real life Rocket Man who calls himself the Fusion Man makes record as the first person to fly over the English Channel with just a wing powered by four engine jets, all strapped on his back! He crossed the channel in 13 minutes last September 27, 1008.

Yves Rossy, his real name is a Swiss commercial airline pilot. Asked if he was afraid of the flight, he said, “I was under tension, but fear? The day I have fear, I don’t go.” Madman? Maybe, but incredible nonetheless!

There is just nothing impossible nowadays huh?! The first thing we must learn is to conquer our fears, just as he did; then we can do the impossible.
